1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing and using Hylē (“the Service”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

Hylē is an AI-powered learning platform that provides exam preparation tools, curated media content, and educational resources. The Service includes both free and premium features.

3. User Accounts

You must create an account to access certain features. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities under your account.

4. Subscriptions and Payments

Premium features require a paid subscription. Payments are processed through PayPal or Toss Payments. Founding Seat pricing is locked at the rate at the time of purchase.

5. Refund Policy

Founding Seat Subscriptions

  • 30-day unconditional refund: Full refund within 30 days of purchase, no questions asked.
  • AI launch guarantee: If Hylē.AI services are not launched by April 30, 2026, all Founding Seat holders are entitled to a full refund of their subscription fee.

Studio Digital Products

  • Digital products (artwork, prints, digital downloads) are non-refundable after download.
  • If a product is defective or not as described, contact us within 7 days for a replacement or refund.

General Subscriptions

  • Cancellations take effect at the end of the current billing period.
  • No partial refunds for unused time within a billing period.
  • You retain access to premium features until the end of your paid period.

How to Request a Refund

  • Include your account email and order/subscription ID
  • Refunds are processed within 5–7 business days via the original payment method (PayPal or Toss Payments)

6. Content and Intellectual Property

All content on Hylē, including articles, exam questions, and AI-generated explanations, is protected by intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without permission.

7. AI Features

AI-powered features (tutor, explanations, quiz generation) are provided as educational aids. Responses are generated by AI and may not always be accurate. Hylē is not liable for decisions made based on AI-generated content.

8. Token System

Tokens are non-refundable digital credits used to access premium content. Token balances expire according to the terms of your subscription plan.

9. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms. You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings.

10. Limitation of Liability

Hylē is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service.

11. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
